Dinosaur Planet Theme Park Launched In Phrom Phong

If you are planning to visit Thailand with your family, kids in tow, you might want to book a hotel in Phrom Phong soon because it is expected that the number of tourists will increase in the area because of the recent opening of the dinosaur theme park called Dinosaur Planet.

In an article published before the opening of the theme park, the public was able to get a glimpse of what the new attraction is offering through a T-Rex that was seen riding in the back of the truck as it is transported in the city. The T-Rex was 4 meters in height and what makes people more excited was hearing the news that they will be able to ride the said dinosaur soon.

The T-Rex is part of the Dinorsaur Planet theme park, which will be located at PhromPhong BTS. The attraction will showcase around 200 dinosaurs – all are life size. There will be different types such as Anchiceratops, Apatosaurus, Velociraptor, Ankylosaurus, among many others.

What makes these dinosaurs interesting are that they can walk thus visitors will be able to take a ride without paying a fee. The theme park officially opened in March 18 of this year. Locals and tourists alike are able to experience a world with prehistoric setting and they are able to run amongst the giant raptors.

The T-Rex that was cruising around town was then revealed to be a PR stunt by the theme park’s management in order to spark the interest of those who are present as well as to spread the news of the new attraction. During the grand opening, the dinosaurs were also present for a parade.

There are many activities to be experienced inside the theme park. One of them is the Raptor X-Treme wherein the guests are given a mission, which is to escape from the velociraptor robots. Another activity is called the Dino Eye, which is also known as the giant Ferris wheel. Riding this will give you a view of the entire park.

Once you have booked a hotel in PhromPhong, make sure to get a ticket to the attraction for only 600 baht for adults and 400 baht for children. Free admission is given to kids that are 90 cm or lower in height.
